A new Primanti Bros. location is opening…in the Baltimore area.
Steelers fans will now be able to experience a taste of home when they travel to see the team take on the Ravens.
The new location is set to open this spring in Linthicum Heights, which is close to Downtown Baltimore and the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
“We are looking forward to expanding the reach of Primanti Bros. into new markets,” a representative for Primanti Bros. said in a statement to KDKA Radio. “As we naturally grow our footprint deeper into Maryland, we’re excited to bring our Almost Famous sandwiches, great value and long history to a whole new customer base.”
While the food will be familiar for Steelers fans, the location will be supporting the Ravens.
It may seem like blasphemy, from a business perspective, it makes total sense.
It will be the chain’s 43rd location.
The “Almost Famous” sandwiches with fries and coleslaw began back in 1933 in the Strip District.
