“This event is in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis and in response to the killing of an American citizen, Renee Nicole Good on Wednesday, January 7 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota,” Indivisible Pittsburgh said in a release. “This killing is part of a broader pattern of acts of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.”

According to Bloomberg, Target has informed its employees that id doesn’t have “cooperative agreements with ICE.”

Target has received criticism for not speaking out against ICE activity in Minnesota, where the company is headquartered.
