Pittsburgh first responders came to the rescue of a tree pruner Tuesday afternoon in Bloomfield.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says Fire, EMS and Police responded to the 200 block of Amboy Street around 1:30 p.m. for reports that someone in a tree had become stuck.
The man was inverted around 30 feet off the ground, held up by a waist harness he was wearing.
Crews used a latter truck to reach the man and used a hardness and a rope to lower him to the ground about a half hour later.
The pruner was sent to the hospital alert and conscious for additional evaluation.
