Police are investigating after a 4-year-old was shot in Rankin Tuesday evening.
Allegheny County Police they were alerted around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday of the incident that late Tuesday in the 100 block of Rankin Boulevard.
Early reports indicate the child was shot inside the home.
They are being treated at a local hospital. The child’s condition has not been released.
Everyone involved in the shooting has been identified and an investigation continues.
