Allegheny County’s Annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program Kicks Off Friday, the day after Christmas.
Residents may drop off their Christmas trees from December 26 through Sunday, January 18 at all nine county parks.
The drop-off hours are from 8:00 a.m. until dusk daily.
As a reminder, all lights, decorations, tinsel and stands must be removed from trees prior to dropping off.
Trees will be mulched and used in the county parks.
