The Red Cross is distributing fire alarms in several Pittsburgh neighborhoods tomorrow and they need help.

It's part of the national Sound the Alarm initiative, which will install 50,000 smoke alarms in 50 communities this month.
From 8:30 am to 3 pm Saturday, the Red Cross will be installing smoke alarms in Homewood, East Liberty and Larimer. Communications Manager Nicole Roschella says they need about 200 people to get the job done.
“It’s really a great opportunity to come out and get involved if you’ve been looking for a volunteer opportunity. This is just one day, a couple of hours of your time. It could really change someone’s life.”
