Redevelopment plans for the former Ligonier Beach site in Westmoreland County were unveiled during a meeting Thursday night in Ligonier Township.
The site was left vacant after being damaged by flooding in 2018.
The proposed plans call for the historic complex to be converted into a spacious park and walking trail.
It could feature a splash pad, an ice-skating rink, fire pits and a pavilion that would be constructed over at least five years.
Township officials said the total cost to redevelop the site, if approved, is expected to be around $19 million.
