According to a report, a woman is ice skating on the Allegheny River.
A police officer tells KDKA Radio’s Colin Dunlap the woman is in the middle of the frozen river near the Waterworks Mall.
Police are trying to coax the skater off the ice, using loudspeakers but have been unsuccessful thus far.
Police want to avoid any chance of the skater falling into the river.
