A house was leveled by an explosion Tuesday morning in Crescent Township.
One man and one woman were killed in the explosion.
It happened around 9 a.m. on the 1400 block of Riverview Road.
Officials confirmed the house uses a private gas well and propane, but there is no official cause on what caused the explosion.
Allegheny County Emergency Services is asking everyone to avoid the area and the scene remains active.
A picture taken at nearby Quaker Valley High School shows black smoke rising from the area.

State Representative Valerie Gaydos posted a photo of the explosion on her campaign page and is a former EMT.
“As a former EMT with Valley Ambulance, I appreciate the efforts of those who respond to these emergencies, often risking their own lives. I pray for the safety of all involved,” said Gaydos.
