So far the vote count continues in Pennsylvania, even as the Trump campaign goes to court to try to stop it.
“We need to stop the counting right away,” U.S. Congressman Guy Reschenthaler said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Monday.
Reschenthaler and other Republicans say poll workers in some counties are being kept at distance from the workers counting the votes.
At least five legal challenges to the vote count in Pennsylvania have now been filed, and one court challenge involves how close party watchers may stand to the actual vote counters.
“There’s nothing wrong if you have individuals and the public has access to watching these ballots get counted,” Reschenthaler adds.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf is vowing to count every vote cast, even in the face of possible legal challenges from the White House. "Make no mistake, our Democracy is being tested in this election," he said.
Wolf criticized President Trump’s attempts to stop the tallying process.
President Trump has filed lawsuits in three states, including Pennsylvania.
