A local animal rescue worked for hours on Thursday night after a dog was rescued by state police in Greensburg.
Troopers were preforming a wellness check “that resulted in immediate help for this young girl.”
Emergency, hours-long surgery was performed by vets and staff at Heart and Soul Animal Hospital in Greensburg.
Animal rescue All But Furgotten says that due to the situation being an open investigation, no other details are available at this time.
“Her pictures say enough,” All But Furgotten wrote on Facebook. “This beautiful girl will be going into a medical foster to recover.”
