A restaurant north of Pittsburgh is currently ‘out of compliance’ after an inspection by state officials.
The PA Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety Bureau inspected the Real Thai Cuisine on Route 19 in Cranberry Township Tuesday.
Inspectors found most everything to be “in compliance” but found German roaches on a wall behind a sink.
The inspection states the pest issue is a repeat violation from six prior inspections between July 2024 and July 2025.
It also says the facility is not getting bi-weekly visits from pest control and has until August 21 to get rid of the roaches, with fines possible if additional inspections need to take place.
