A popular restaurant in the Pittsburgh area is under Consumer Alert after an inspection on Thursday.
The Allegheny County Health Department says Chengdu Gourmet 2 on McKnight Road in Ross Township had several violations after the inspection on August 20.
Violations include food that was adulterated by condensation from a cooler, along with improper cooling procedures.
The Health Department say that some of the refrigeration equipment was malfunctioning.
Some hot food temperatures and cold food temperatures were “incorrect”.
Inspectors also found insects present in the restaurant and some chemicals were stored incorrectly.
