A restaurant in Pittsburgh has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.
An inspection shows 17 total violations a Chaai & Chaatwala, an Indian restaurant in Oakland on Centre Avenue.
Two of the violations are considered high-risk.
They include several food items inside a sandwich prep cooler temped between 57 and 65 degrees, well above the cold-holding temperature of 41 degrees or lower.
That cooler is unable to hold a temperature of 41 degrees or lower.
Also, the restaurant is unable to clean and sanitize dishes due to a sink not being able to drain.
Rodent droppings were found in several areas including on a shelf near a walk-in cooler, behind cooking equipment on a counter and a bug zapper was found on a counter behind cooking equipment.
The restaurant must take several steps before it can reopen.
