Friday night’s Ringgold football game with Thomas Jefferson is postponed.
In a statement to families, the school district said the decision was made after officials were informed about “alleged incidents of misconduct" involving team members.
Superintendent Randall Skrinjorich said in the message that the alleged incident is considered “serious.”
Mike White, of the Post-Gazette, and KDKA Radio’s High School Football coverage says the WPIAL is considering the game a postponement at this time.
The WPIAL tells White that the game is allowed to be made up in the next three weeks.
If it isn’t, the status of the game will be addressed at that time.
Ringgold is currently 1-6 overall and 0-2 in its conference.
Thomas Jefferson is 7-0 and 2-0 in its conference.
