The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office is deciding whether a Robinson Township Police officer should face criminal charges.
Officer Steve Pies is suspended with pay following a road rage incident on Forest Grove Road on July 2.
Police would not confirm what happened, but sources told KDKA-TV that Pies, who was off duty, followed the alleged victim to his workplace, where things got physical.
Sources say the victim needed medical treatment but it is not clear how seriously they were hurt.
Allegheny County Police investigated and turned over a report to the DA's office though the office said it cannot comment on the status of an ongoing investigation.
