If you drive northbound on I-79 in Allegheny County you may want to avoid it today between 9 and 11 a.m.
PennDOT says there will be a rolling closure and stoppages of 15 minutes or less in all northbound lanes of 79 between the Mt. Nebo Road Exit and Parkway North split.
Crews will be conducting “inspection activities.”
It’s part of a $26.49 million project to improve Interstate 79 in the Pittsburgh area.
Stay up to date with the rolling closures, with traffic every 10 minutes, on the 5’s.
