A routine stop for a traffic violation turned into a big drug bust Wednesday.
The Mon Valley Police Department observed a driver committing a violation at Hawkins and 4th avenues in North Braddock and during the course of the investigation they discovered 5 pounds of suspected marijuana.
It was seized and charges against the driver are pending.
The suspect is a 37-year-old man from Braddock.
