Steelers soon-to-be free agent Russell Wilson and his family are dealing with a heavy loss.

Wilson’s dog “Prince” has died at the age of 12.

Posting on social media, Wilson shared that he got Prince his rookie year in the NFL.

“You have been a blessing to our family with so many memories, hugs and kisses from our 4 kids and us,” Wilson wrote on “X”.

Wilson added that Prince was diagnosed twice with cancer but survived both bouts.

According to TMZ, Wilson and his wife Ciara have two other Great Danes.
