
A school bus driver was trapped after crashing into a pole in Forest Hills Wednesday morning.

It happened in the 2300 block of Ardmore Boulevard around 9:30 a.m.
The impact separated the front axle and wheels from the frame and the engine was on the ground ahead of the badly damaged bus.

The driver was extricated and taken to the hospital in stable condition.
No students were on board.
Also, a school bus carrying 32 students caught fire in Fayette County Wednesday morning.
