A search in the Monongahela River resumed Tuesday morning.
Search crews and emergency responders have been working since 8 a.m. to pull what is believed to be a vehicle out of the river, using heavy machinery.
It began Sunday night near the boat launch on North First Avenue in Elizabeth in the same area where divers were seen going into the water.
This comes amid a search for a missing man from Beaver County who was last seen not far from the area.
36-year-old Brian Posch of Brighton Township was last heard from Friday morning, his white pickup truck was seen driving along Rt. 51 in Jefferson Hills the same day.
As of now, there is no current connection to the search in the river and the ongoing search for Posch, but Posch’s father has been at the site, awaiting any news.
