Adams Township supervisors approved on Monday night plans for a new Chick-fil-A location on Route 228.
It will be next door to Sheetz at the Adams Corners shopping center.
The 5500 square-foot restaurant will have a dual drive-thru lane like the Chick-fil-A location on 228 in Cranberry just 6.6 miles away.
An opening date has not been set.
The Adams Township Chick-fil-a will be the second in Butler County after Cranberry.
There is also a Chick-fil-a location nearby in Wexford on Perry Highway.
