Sen. Fetterman and wife involved in car accident in Maryland

According to multiple report, Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman and his wife, Gisele Fetterman, were involved in a car accident in Maryland on Sunday.

Fetterman, who lives in Braddock (just outside of Pittsburgh), was in an accident on I-70 in Maryland, according to a spokesperson.

He was taken to a local hospital “out an abundance of caution” and treated for a bruised shoulder

He was released Sunday afternoon.

According to reports, Fetterman was driving a vehicle when it hit the rear of another vehicle. Both were traveling west on I-70.

Fetterman’s office says that he and Gisele are back at their home in Braddock.

Fetterman is also expected to be in Washington D.C. for voting this week.
