Seven people charged with trespassing at Century III Mall

Seven people were arrested Tuesday for trespassing at the abandoned Century III Mall in West Mifflin.

Police say six men and one woman will be charged in connection with the incident.

West Mifflin identified the people involved.

The individuals were identified as Jared Chambers (23 of Canonsburg), Nathaniel Riley (19 of Brentwood), Noah Joseph (22 of Pittsburgh), Heather Mason (21 of Pittsburgh), Austin Seik (25 of Hookstown), Caden Desimone (18 of Elizabeth), and Lucas Gonzalez (21 of Pittsburgh), West Mifflin Police said in a Facebook post.

All persons were charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief and transported to the Allegheny County Jail for arraignment.

The battle over demolishing the mall continues.

A court has given mall owner Moonbeam Capital 30 days to make good faith progress in preparation for and scheduling the demolition.
