In a message, the superintendent said the campus was checked and cleared after the district received a suspicious email on Friday and again over the weekend.
Fort Cherry and Burgettstown evacuated on Monday due to threats.
Fort Cherry Superintendent Thomas Samosky released the following statement after the evacuation:
All threats to our school or students are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. We wanted you to have the facts so you can discuss them with your child and emphasize the seriousness of the issue. If you discover anything that can assist in the investigation, please contact the school immediately.
State Police announced the threat was part of a nationwide event.
Several other schools across the country have received threats.
A similar incident happened last school year that affected several local schools.
