The Department of Labor says the operators of several McDonald's locations in Western Pennsylvania violated child labor laws.

Indor Incorporated, owned by Paul and Meghan Sweeney, was found to schedule nearly three dozen 14 and 15-year-olds to work later and longer than child labor laws allow.

Some of the violations include working during school hours, working more than three hours on a school day and over eight hours on a non-school day.

The Cranberry Township based company has McDonald's restaurants in Brookville, Clarion, Punxsutawney and St. Mary's.

Endor paid over $26,000 in civil fines for the violations.
