Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday announced the arrest of an Indiana, Pennsylvania man on felony counts of possessing and disseminating child sexual abuse material.
State agents traced the illegal file-sharing activity to a residence on South 11th Street in Indiana Borough after monitoring illicit network traffic.
43-year-old Yao Wang was arraigned with bail set at $50,000 unsecured, alongside orders to surrender his passport and restrictions barring internet usage or contact with minors.
“Those who distribute these vile materials are repeatedly abusing and exploiting children and will be held fully accountable,” Attorney General Sunday said. “I commend my team for a proactive investigation that led to this defendant as the source of the illegal sharing.”
