Pittsburgh Police have announced a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the parking lot on the South Side has been arrested.
37-year-old Larry Pappy Johnson was arrested in Staten Island, New York on Thursday.
Johnson is charged in the rape of a women in a parking lot on South 14th Street on the South Side on August 8.
Johnson is facing charges of rape, sexual assault, robbery and more.
Pittsburgh Police worked with the NYPD Staten Island Warrant Squad in the arrest of Johnson.
Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala will meet Thursday morning with Pittsburgh Police and city leaders to discuss safety on the South Side.
