Shaler Township Police and other law enforcement agencies are involved in a police incident in the 1400 block of Anderson Road.
In a social media post, police say the perimeter of nearby Shaler Area High School is secure and there is no immediate threat to the school where screening procedures are in place.
Shaler police are asking the public to avoid the area.
