A woman in her 70's was hit by a car in Shaler Township just before 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.
The victim was hit in the intersection of Mount Royal Boulevard and Scott Avenue and she was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
