You’ll see a new home run counter at PNC Park this year in the right field foul area.
Sheetz has announced it’s expanding its partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates with the “Home Runz for Hunger” program.
For every home run hit by the Pirates this season, Sheetz will donate $100 to help the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
Each $100 will help provide 300 meals to those in need.
Each home run will be counted by the Sheetz Shotz counter in right field, right next to the Clemente 21 wall sign.
“Expanding our partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates while supporting the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in its mission to provide nutritious food to individuals and families across the region is a true win-win for us,” said Jackie Foderaro, Community Partnerships Manager for Sheetz. “Fighting hunger is central to Sheetz’s mission and a driving force behind our Made-to-Share program. We’re hopeful for many home runs from the Pirates at home this season!”
