Penn Hills is losing a grocery store.
Shop 'n Save on Universal Road is closing after more than three decades in business.
The family operating the store says a clearance sale will start tomorrow but have yet to set a closing date.
The store will continue to operate on normal hours unless otherwise posted on its Facebook page.
Anyone with Shop 'n Save gift cards can redeem them at other locations.
In a message to customers, the Hartley Family, owners of the grocery store said, in part:
The decision was not made lightly. We’re doing everything we can to support our employees during this transition, and our nearby Holiday Park SHOP ‘n SAVE will remain open and ready to serve you.
