A lawn mower rollover accident in Slippery Rock Township on Saturday resulted in a person’s hand being amputated.
The accident occurred within the woods behind a residence off Kiester House Road, requiring first responders to utilize a UTV to retrieve the victim.
First responders were on the scene in under 15 minutes of the first call.
Although the victim was not trapped and bleeding was controlled, a medical helicopter flew the patient to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
