A pub and brewery on Pittsburgh South Side is officially closing Wednesday.
Sly Fox Brewing Company at The Highline on McKean Street opened in 2022 at the renovated historic property.
On its website, Sly Fox says they’re confident in The Highline being successful but, “evolving market conditions and performance trends made it difficult to maintain the level of operations required for long-term success. After long consideration, the decision was made to close.
A new tenant is planned to open this summer.
“We are incredibly grateful to our loyal guests, our hardworking front-of-house and back-of-house team members, and our managers who made Sly Fox at The Highline such a special place,” said John Giannopoulos, CEO of Sly Fox Brewing Co.
“Their dedication and passion brought energy to the space every single day.”
Sly Fox’s Downtown Pittsburgh location near Point State Park on Liberty Avenue.
The now closed, South Side location was previously under a Consumer Alert in early January.
