Small road closures in Ross Township causing big delays

A stretch of Rochester Road over Harts Run Road in Ross Township has closed.

It's a road project we knew was coming.

PennDOT's District 11 Executive Director, Jason Zang, talked about it in a news conference back in March.

Zang called it a 'small' project but motorists may disagree.

This is on Rochester Road between Nocklyn Drive and Reis Run Road.

That's only about 250 feet, but it requires drivers to use a lengthy detour to Route 19, onto Sewickley Oakmont Road and then back to Rochester Road.

The project is scheduled wrap up on August 10.
