A restaurant in the Pittsburgh area has abruptly closed its doors.
Smokey Bones in Robinson Township has shut down with a message on its phone line saying, “unfortunately this location has permanently closed.”
A spokesperson for Smokey Bones tells KDKA Radio, "I can confirm that location (Robinson Township) closed; however, the other Pittsburgh locations will remain open and we are committed to their success."
Smokey Bones still has locations in Cranberry Township, Tarentum and Greensburg.
The chain restaurant offers a menu of BBQ staples including chicken, ribs, pork and more.
Twin Hospitality Group, which owns Smokey Bones, also owns Twin Peaks restaurants.
Twin Peaks has a location right near the now-closed Smokey Bones Robinson location.
KDKA Radio has reached out to Smokey Bones for a reason for the closure.
