Even though COVID-19 is no longer the threat it once was, many folks are still dealing with the long haul effects of the virus.

Family practitioner Dr. Kevin Wong tells the Big K Morning show that nearly ten percent of his patients have some Long COVID symptoms, lasting months or even years:

"The biggest initial one was, of course, the taste and smell issue", he says, "but now we're seeing anything from brain fog, lasting a few months, to extreme fatigue or just general malaise, just as though you had a bad flu, and whenever you try to do something you have no energy."

He says some patients dealing with Long CCOVID are also suffering from anxiety and depression.
