The City of Pittsburgh says the mayor will name a new police chief in the next two weeks.
Sources tell NewsRadio KDKA's Marty Griffin it is Ryan Lee, who resigned as chief in Boise, Idaho.
A report by KTVB says nine Boise officers filed complaints against Lee last year and six officers retired because, in one officer's words, "it was impossible to function under Lee."
The Idaho Statesman reported Lee resigned at the request of Boise's mayor.
The city's Office of Police Accountability recommended Lee be placed on paid administrative after nine officers filed complaints.
An external review of the allegations concluded there were no policy violations.
