
The South Park Wave Pool is officially open, just in time for the 4th of July holiday.
Allegheny County recently completed the restoration of the pool, which consisted of extensive structural repairs to the pool.
The South Park Wave Pool opened in 1977 and consists of just under 1 million gallons of water.
County Executive Sara Innamorato is giving away popsicles to patrons to celebrate the pool’s reopening and the Fourth of July.
“We are thrilled to announce the re-opening of the newly renovated South Park Wave Pool,” said Innamorato. “This beloved community gem has been revitalized to provide an even better experience for residents and visitors. We look forward to seeing families and friends enjoying this fantastic facility all summer long.”
Admission for adults (age 18-59 is $6 for residents, $8 for non-Allegheny County residents.
Age 6-17 - $5 for residents, $6 for non
5 and under is $1 for both residents and non
Seniors (age 60+) $3 for residents, $4 for non
