A South Side man is behind bars, accused of beating his mother to death Monday night.
Michael Hensley is charged with criminal homicide in the death of 66-year-old Annette Morros.
Officers called to her apartment on the 2200 block of Sarah Street found Morris on the floor and say Hensley had swollen hands, blood under his fingernails and on his pants.
Police have been called to the residence dozens of times.
