With October now here, its officially spooky season and Spirit Halloween stores around the Pittsburgh area will be busy throughout the month.
But after Halloween is over, two Pittsburgh locations will transform for the holiday season.
“Spirit Christmas” will open at North Hills Village on McKnight Road and in Bethel Park on Oxford Drive next to Kohls.
Spirit Christmas will offer “a vast assortment of holiday décor, apparel, inflatables, gift Also, you’ll be able to “Wander through the life-sized gingerbread village, where you can mail your letter to Santa at the North Pole and find out whether you’ve been naughty or nice.”
“We’re hopeful it will resonate with our customers,” said Nikki Balles, Senior Director of PR for Spirit Halloween. “Our goal is to create a festive retail experience that captures the spirit of the season, much like we do for Halloween.”

Spirit Christmas tested 10 stores last year, with the closest one to Pittsburgh in Erie.
Spirit Halloween pulls in over $1 billion in revenue yearly with over 1,500 locations in the United States, and several in the Pittsburgh area open every Halloween season.
