
A 25-year-old Pittsburgh man is facing a homicide charge for the fatal stabbing of an off-duty Pennsylvania State Police Officer Monday along the Montour Trail.
25-year-old Anthony Quesen is accused of killing 44-year-old Benjamin Brallier yesterday afternoon in the 1900 block of Hassam Road in the Robinson/Moon area.
Investigators say the motive for the stabbing is unclear.
Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner, Colonel Christopher Paris released the following statement:
“The Pennsylvania State Police is heartbroken to confirm the tragic loss of one of our own, dedicated Liquor Enforcement Officer Benjamin Brallier, who was fatally stabbed while off-duty yesterday. With over 20 years of service, he was an exemplary officer and a devoted father and husband.”

Quesen is currently detained inside the Allegheny County Jail.
