Steelers in Ireland is great for Irish Businesses here in Pittsburgh

With the Steelers traveling to Ireland for a game against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday, business is booming for Irish businesses here in Pittsburgh.

If you want to experience a taste of Ireland when the Steelers kick off in Dublin on Sunday morning, there are plenty of options.

According to Tom Petrone, co-owner with his wife Maura of the Irish Design Center, you could certainly go with an Irish breakfast to go along with the 9:30 kickoff a.m.

Bangers, potatoes, black and white pudding, which is like eating a different type of sausage are all available to buy

Petrone adds “you can’t go wrong with stew.” That can be made with either beef or lamb.

In addition to food, the Irish Center sells authentic Irish clothing and more.

His store will be open on Sunday as well, but between now and then he and his wife will be busy, with an unprecedented interest this time of year in Irish fare.
