The search for 10-year-old dog Lucky has expanded into the North Carolina area after the man responsible for taking him was arrested.
Last week, Pennsylvania State Police reported Kenneth Crider of Poolesville, Maryland, carjacked 87-year-old Willard Martz.
Crider stole Martz’s 2016 Ford Focus outside of the Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.
Lucky was in the car at the time of carjacking.
Martz’s family quickly asked for help locating their beloved dog.
On Saturday, Crider was arrested after the Sheriff’s Office in Nash County, North Carolina chased Crider on I-95.
Crider traveled through three counties during the chase, going over 120mph at times. He was taken into custody and faces a long list of charges in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

But, Lucky is still missing.
Martz’s daughter Linda tells KDKA Radio that the Airedale Terrier mix was believed to be dropped off by Crider at an unknown rest stop on I-95 in North Carolina.
Lucky is wearing a black collar with a flea collar zip tied to it.
A $5,000 reward is now being offered for Lucky’s safe return.
Anyone that spots Lucky is asked to call Linda at 412-298-8611.
