After two calm and nice days in the Pittsburgh region, there is the threat of some severe weather later Wednesday.
AccuWeather meteorologist Dean DeVore says prime time for the storms is later this afternoon into the first part of tonight.
Thunderstorms could roll through around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
DeVore says the storms could bring heavy winds, hail and some heavy downpours.
“The downpour situation we don’t need, especially with all the flooding,” said DeVore.
And, DeVore says another storm is expected to move through Thursday night into Friday.
Many Pittsburgh-area communities were damaged and roads were closed by flooding last week after rivers and creeks flooded following heavy rain fall.
