A popular sandwich shop in Pittsburgh has announced its decision to close.
Stuntpig on Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill will close for good on May 23.
The owners say they’ve decided not to renew the lease at 1707 Murray Avenue.
“We find ourselves at an intersection of factors and circumstances that require us to take a break and re-assess,” the owners said in a Facebook post. “It’s with much pride and satisfaction that we move to close this chapter. keeping our singular focus on the food- making it colorful and unique has been our best dunk. while it’s been a knockout, it’s kinda knocked us out too.”
Stuntpig started as a food truck in 2020 and eventually turned into a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
The restaurant is known for its unique take on different types of sandwiches, sides and more.
The owners say to stay tuned to their Facebook page for new things in the works.
