To begin the season, we look at the top seven players to watch in each WPIAL classification, as well as the Pittsburgh City League.
This season, KDKA Radio will again nominate players each week to join the KDKA Radio Super 7 Awards watch list. Every Monday, a new crop of players will be unveiled based on their efforts that previous Friday night. At the end of the year, KDKA Radio will announce the winners of the award for each WPIAL classification, as well as the Pittsburgh City League.
Here are seven players to watch in each classification:
CLASS 6A
Will Bossart, Norwin - Offensive tackle with offers from FAU and Akron.
Brady Brinkley, North Allegheny - Quarterback and safety who passed for over 1,800 yards in 2025.
Zach Gleason, Central Catholic - 3-star cornerback recruit committed to West Virginia.
James Halter, Central Catholic - Offensive tackle and top 100 recruit committed to Notre Dame.
Jimmy Kalis, Central Catholic - 4-star offensive tackle committed to Ohio State.
Luke Sohyda, Canon-McMillan - Big bodied tight end with handful of Power 4 offers.
Roman Thompson, Central Catholic - Physical running back and linebacker committed to Miami (OH).
CLASS 5A
Tyler Eber, Thomas Jefferson - Senior tailback who ran for 1,849 and 31 touchdowns in 2025.
Ben Grabowski, Penn-Trafford - All-conference linebacker and running back.
Richard “Tre” Littlejohn, Penn Hills - Dynamic receiver with offers from Florida State and several others.
Ryan Robbins, Upper St. Clair - Mammoth offensive and defensive lineman committed to Penn State.
Will Sabatos, Bethel Park - Linebacker committed to Miami (OH) who returns following late season injury.
Aaron “Oobi” Strader, Pine-Richland - Four-year starter at QB, c committed to Kent State.
Khalil Taylor, Pine-Richland - Top 100 recruit committed to Nebraska as a wide receiver.
CLASS 4A
Nick Anderson, Kiski - 4-star interior offensive line recruit with offers from LSU, PSU, Indiana and more.
Brandon Bennett, Montour - Lengthy quarterback and safety with offer from Pitt and several others.
Archie Collins, Montour - One of region’s top receivers with offers from Pitt, Auburn, Miami and more.
Marino Graham, New Castle - Dazzled as a freshman with over 1,700 passing and 900 rushing yards.
Javien Robinson, McKeesport - 4-star receiver recruit committed to South Carolina.
Kemon Spell, McKeesport - Running back who is 10th overall recruit in nation, committed to Georgia.
Aayden Wright, South Fayette - Up-and-coming receiver and defensive back prospect with offers from Pitt and Maryland.

James “BooBoo” Armstrong, Hopewell - Imposingly athletic quarterback committed to Penn State as junior.
Romello Harris-Blanchard, Avonworth - Powerful pass rusher with offers from Maryland and others.
Armand Hill, West Mifflin - Talented 3-star tailback with offers from Pitt, Michigan and more.
Gabe Jenkins, Propel Braddock Hills - Athletic quarterback and 4-star safety committed to Colorado.
