A man is in custody after a robbery at an Oakland tobacco business.

Pittsburgh Police say Forbes Tobacco, on the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue, was robbed just before 8 p.m. on Sunday evening.

An employee told police the suspect was putting items into his backpack when he was approached by the worker.

The suspect showed a knife and continued stealing item before leaving the store and fleeing on foot toward South Bouquet Street.

Police were able to identify the suspect through surveillance footage and located him a block away.

57-year-old Paul Miller was arrested and taken to Allegheny County Jail.

He is charged with robbery.
