The Pittsburgh Bureaus of Fire and Police are investigating a suspicious fire that was started early Wednesday morning in the city's Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says fire crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of Superior Avenue just before 1:00am Wednesday morning for a report of a possible incendiary device that had been thrown through the window of a residence.
Residents inside the home were able to extinguish the fire. Investigators and Dodger, a K9 Accelerant Dog, were called in, and located areas of possible accelerant as well as the presence of an incendiary device.
No injuries were reported, and no suspects have been identified.
