There was a standoff in Homewood overnight.

Pittsburgh police say they were called to the 7000 block of Idlewild Street just before 3 a.m.

A woman said she had been involved in a domestic dispute with a man who apparently stole her gun.

After getting a warrant, police say the man was no longer inside.

Police contacted the man through a cellphone. He told police he would meet them at a second location. That information turned out to be false.

The investigation continues with police still searching for the suspect.

The woman involved in the incident suffered minor injuries and was treated by medics.
